ProComp compound brake pads from PBS brakes have been developed for competition use and have been used successfully in many different race event including time attack, The pads offer a higher initial bite than the PBS ProRace compound and also have a higher friction coefficiant (0,55 – 0.65mu). Low pad compression provides a shorter and more consistent pedal travel.
- 200-800°C working temperature range for fade free braking
- Very high friction level (0.55 to 0.65mu) for powerful braking performance
- Requires light bedding in only
- Tried and tested in Motorsport disciplines such as time attack
PBS ProComp brake pads have been developed by racers for racers and have been successfully used in many MSA and European championships. The pad material is bonded to the back plate using NUCAP NRS. This system utilises hundreds of steel hooks, creating a permanent mechanical bond to the friction material, eliminating the risk of pad separation. During manufacture the pads are subjected to a heat curing process which removes unwanted gasses. This process eliminates the necessity for a lengthy bedding in process.
